giving content creators the tools they need to succeed
with a number of barriers to entry— including uncertainty around basic functionality of the tool and Covid restrictions —the TikTok LIVE team were struggling to increase both the number of creators going live on platform, and the quality of content made by those who did.
the solution, in partnership with Monks, was teach me how to LIVE, a multi-part educational series that covered everything from the basics of scheduling a TikTok LIVE, to sharing best practises for keeping audiences engaged.
crucially, we took the decision that creators would hear from successful LIVE creators, so they could see the benefits for themselves.
to b2b or not to b2b
another area in which we helped this client, was in showcasing the benefits of using TikTok as an advertising platform.
with this in mind, TikTok tasked us with creating a series of video case studies featuring some of its most successful b2b creators, around its annual TikTok Ad Awards.
in keeping with the platform, visually this content needed to be fast-paced and feature jump cuts and more. and from a scripting pov, we needed to keep it fresh. no millennial pauses here.
